In a follow up to our first post about women in rock and the current male-artist dominated landscape of 2015’s festival season, we bring you part 2 of the Queens of Rock.  This gallery features some truly great artists including fresh off Coachella Lykke Li,  Beth Gibbons of Portishead, the legendary singer of The Pretenders Chrissie Hynde, New Order‘s Gillian Gilbert, metal queens Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey from Butcher Babies, the now solo but former bassist of Smashing Pumpkins and Hole, Melissa Auf der Maur, another bass great Nikki Monninger from Silversun Pickups and Swaan Miller from the L.A. rock band Nightmare Air.
